LES ADORE ISSUE IV: The Anniversary Issue
Naturally, birthdays are a time of personal reflection, serving as a marker of time. It’s more than just cake and candles. Each year, birthdays offer up an invitation: a chance to embrace who we've become thus far and fantasize about the future. This is how Volume IV’s theme came to be.

A note from Amina Salahou, Founder & Creative Director

One of the most profound experiences in my life has been the journey of creating Les Adore from the ground up. I started the project alone, driven by a vision to blend art, fashion, and culture into a platform that told unique, authentic stories. In November, I released our first magazine issue, not fully knowing how it would be received or what kind of impact it might have. It was a labor of love—every photo, article, and design was a reflection of my artistic vision and the values I hold dear.

The response exceeded my expectations, not only because of the positive reception but also because of the community it began to build. From that first issue, Les Adore has grown into a team of over 30 passionate individuals, each bringing their own creative flair and cultural perspectives. Together, we’ve expanded the magazine, launched events, and produced content that engages with important cultural dialogues.

This experience profoundly shaped me as both an artist and a leader. It taught me the importance of collaboration and how empowering others can create something far greater than I could have imagined alone. Watching Les Adore evolve into a collective space for art, conversation, and community has been one of the most rewarding aspects of my journey. It reinforced my belief in the power of storytelling and the arts to create lasting connections.

The journey from a solo project to a thriving creative collective has shown me what’s possible when passion meets perseverance, and it continues to fuel my desire to create spaces where art and culture can flourish.

LES ADORE ISSUE III: The Race To Beauty
In pairing tennis skirts with designer purses and faux fur, Les Adore highlights the juxtaposition of traditional athletic and chic styles, merging the two to manifest striking imagery. The styling team aimed to invoke the essence of the 2024 Paris Olympics tagline through its promise of liberté— or liberation.
